This was by far one of the most special birthdays I’ve ever experienced. What made it perfect was celebrating the end of the semester, with friends, and laughter. I also got to see Dawson experience sushi for the first time.
If you aren’t familiar with Conveyor Belt sushi, you basically order per plate, or type of sushi on a screen and when you’re finished, you pay at the front! It is so cheap, fun, and convenient as with most things in Japan. We ate at a place in the heart of Shibuya, here is a map if you want to go to this exact place:
Since traveling here, I believe they have been bought by Genki sushi. But it is still the same! I highly recommend this place for a first timer, as the menus are bilingual and the staff friendly. Here is a lovely up to date article!
One of my favorite parts was watching everyone order, the matcha, and the parfait at the end. Also whilst returning to the dorms I found a rose on the ground! As always, I pair these posts with a video!
If you have any questions about study abroad or just want to talk about how amazing sushi is, leave a comment!
